The Love Behind Every Treat
Dianbo is my companion, my travel buddy, and a much-loved part of my family. He is almost nine years old, and wherever I go on vacation, I bring him along. We have shared so many happy moments, but six months ago, we faced a difficult chapter together.
Dianbo became sick with parvovirus. He grew very skinny and weak, and it was heartbreaking to see him that way. For two months, I took him to the veterinarian for treatment and care, hoping each visit would bring us closer to his recovery.
Little by little, he became stronger. Seeing him get better brought an enormous sense of relief. After those frightening months, simply having him beside me felt precious.
After his recovery, Dianbo’s veterinarian explained how important good nutrition would be for maintaining his health. We discussed protein-rich foods and vegetables suited to his needs, especially as he grew older. That conversation made me pay even closer attention to what went into his bowl.
I began putting more care into preparing his meals, using ingredients such as chicken, okra, bitter melon, sweet potato, and other vegetables. Today, Dianbo is doing well, and I am grateful to see him healthy and strong as he approaches his ninth birthday.
Caring for him has become one of the most meaningful parts of my day. Whether I am preparing his regular raw food, cooking a meal, or making homemade vegetable treats, I think about his age, his individual needs, and the care he deserves.
Making treats for Dianbo inspired me to share that same care with other dog owners. I know how much love can live in the small things we do for our pets: choosing ingredients thoughtfully, preparing food carefully, and taking the time to understand them.
That is the spirit behind the homemade treats I want to share. They began in my kitchen, with Dianbo, and with a wish to give him something made with attention and love.
Now, I want to bring that care to your dog, too—through thoughtfully prepared treats that you can share during your own everyday moments together.
From my kitchen to your dog, every treat begins with love.
